Chris Cuomo Blasted for Questioning Legitimacy of Florida Governor's Coronavirus Data

FOXNews.com:
Critics suggested CNN anchor Chris Cuomo lacks self-awareness while questioning the legitimacy of Florida's coronavirus data.
Cuomo has raised eyebrows over the past several months, from his hostile confrontation with a cyclist while breaking quarantine amid his recovery from the coronavirus to the series of softball interviews he conducted with his brother, Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Despite New York having the highest death toll of any state and the governor's ongoing nursing home controversy, the CNN anchor has particularly been outspoken about Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whose state has seen a surge of COVID cases in recent weeks.

Chris Cuomo Criticizes Trump Economy Using Data That Stops in 2016

NewsBusters.org:

CNN’s Chris Cuomo doesn’t appear to have done his due diligence. He committed a very bad gaffe last night by using pre-Trump era economic data to bash President Donald Trump’s economy.

Cuomo attacked Trump’s Director of the United States National Economic Council Larry Kudlow for saying that he doesn’t believe there is systemic racism in the U.S. during the June 11 edition of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time. To bolster his argument, Cuomo fired off a flurry of wealth inequality graphs attempting to prove his “fact” that systemic racism exists in America. He used the graphs to claim the “fundamental divide” between white and black wealth was “as wide now as it was the year Dr. [Martin Luther] King[, Jr.] was shot. So much for Trump's economy being the best ever for black people.”

The problem? All the graphs Cuomo used had data that stopped in 2016, when former President Barack Obama was still in office. The irony is that the chyron for the segment was headlined “The Data Is Clear.” If anything was “clear,” it was that Cuomo’s cherry-picked data had nothing to do with the Trump economy at all.

Chris Cuomo Claims ‘Too Many’ Trump Supporters Want Blacks ‘Put Down’

NewsBusters.org:
Despite his false claims to the contrary, CNN host Chris Cuomo hates President Trump and loathed his supporters. He flashed that disdain again on Thursday when he suggested that the President was sending more racist “dog whistles” to his fans when talking about “dominating” the streets. He even seemed to suggest Trump’s supporters wanted to see blacks killed, or “put down” in the words of Cuomo. On top of that, Cuomo also defended the radical “autonomous zone” set up in Seattle.

“All eyes are on Seattle and Trump sees an opportunity to make everything that's happening there, and really everywhere, about his political opponents and their radical ranks,” he fumed, seemingly admitting that radicals were there. “His move? Calls to ‘dominate’ the people on the streets, dangling troops again. Wonder what effect that will have on people who say they are tired of being dominated.”

After playing a heavily edited soundbite of Trump’s address in Dallas, Texas on police reform, Cuomo was irritated by talk of “dominating the street with compassion.”

It was then he made his disgusting attack against Trump supporters. “When I say he is tone-deaf, I mean the calls for equity and justice. That is because he is singing a different tune – it’s more like a dog whistle, right, to his base. And too many of them want to see the people who are begging for change put down,” he proclaimed without evidence.

Activism, Not Journalism: CNN Correspondent Sara Sidnor Explains Rioting as Done Out of ‘Pain,’ Racism

NewsBusters.org:
UPDATE, 12:53 p.m. Eastern: Responding to this writer's video tweet of her comments, Sidner said that, unless we're there and on the ground in Minneapolis, we shouldn't be allowed to critique her work:
Yes, one might be characterizing what people are saying or their justification for doing something, but by expressing such empathy, reporters are giving their endorsement to what's going on. Once someone commits acts of violence upon people unrelated to the case at hand (i.e. Floyd's murder), it's safe to say they lose credibility.
Also, what a classic response by a journalist and add this to the already-established reality that journalists can't stand outside criticism.
----------------------------------------------
A few hours after an emotional moment on CNN in which national correspondent Sara Sidner asked a question of Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo on behalf of the late George Floyd’s family,
Sidner reflected on it and, with help from Prime Time host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, she explained to viewers why there’s been widespread looting and rioting. The excuse? Well, it’s because of the (real) “pain” from racism that racial minorities have experienced for far too long.
Towards the end of their important conversation with Sidner about what it meant to ask Arradondo for the Floyd family (as well as the maddening final moments of Floyd’s life), Cuomo defended journalism’s supposed love of “diversity” because “we want so much diversity” in people that “look different” with “difference experiences.”

‘The Five’ Shred Cuomo Brothers Making Coronavirus Jokes, Ignoring Deaths

Kayleigh McEnany Slams Chris Cuomo, Lefty Journalists Bashing Hydroxychloroquine

NewsBusters.org:
She also cited its “very good safety” profile and 65-year history as a treatment “for lupus, arthritis, and malaria” before making the most important point (and one the administration has made very clear): “As with any drug and as with any prescription, it should be given by a doctor to a patient in that context, so no one should be taking this without a prescription from their doctor.”

Along with Cuomo’s hypocrisy, McEnany cited liberal media hot takes about Trump taking the drug along with Fredo’s hypocrisy:

But that being said, I've seen a lot of apoplectic coverage of hydroxychloroquine. You had Jimmy Kimmel saying the president's “trying to kill himself by taking it.” You had Joe Scarborough saying, “this will kill you.” Neil Cavuto saying “what have you got to lose? One thing you have to lose are lives.” And you had Chris Cuomo saying “the president knows that hydroxychloroquine is not supported by science. He knows that has been flying --- flagged by his own people and he's using it.” Well, Cuomo mocked the President for this and interestingly I found this just before coming here. Hydroxychloroquine, of course, is an FDA-approved medication with a long-proven track record for safety and it turns out that Chris Cuomo took a less-safe version of it called quinine which the FDA removed from the market in 2006 because of its serious side effects, including deaths, so really interesting to have that criticism of the President.

CNN Segment Shows Chris Cuomo Emerging from ‘Weeks’ in Isolation Just Days after He Feuded with Biker In Hamptons

NationalReview.com:

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on Monday night announced that he has emerged from his basement, where he has been quarantining after testing positive for coronavirus three weeks ago.

CNN published a segment featuring Cuomo’s reunion with his family, which occurred just a week after a public kerfuffle with a biker in the Hamptons, who confronted him about his failure to social distance.

Cuomo, 49, announced on March 31 that he had tested positive for the virus and was remaining isolated from his family in his basement, where he continued to host his CNN show and share updates with his viewers about his symptoms, which included hallucinations, sweating, headaches, and a fever that was so severe that his shivering caused him to chip a tooth. He said Monday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has cleared him to end his quarantine period.

“Alright, here it is: The official re-entry from the basement,” he said in a video posted to CNN’s website and his Instagram account. “This is what I’ve been dreaming of, literally, for weeks.”

What a prick. He got in an altercation with a cyclist a couple of weeks ago who called him out for violating his quarantine and now Cuomo's on CNN talking about "riding out" his Coronavirus in "his basement" for the "last several weeks". SMH.

Chris Cuomo Has Meltdown Over New Hampshire Governor's Defense Of President Trump, Calls Prez An 'Autocrat"

Of course, if Trump really was an autocrat Cuomo and the rest of the free press would never be allowed to criticize the Prez. But who cares about facts when you've already been diagnosed with TDS and have to resort to idiotic hyperbole day in and day out to keep your ratings from getting worse than they are now.

Chris Cuomo Lies While Shredding Senate Republicans For President Trump's Acquittal

"He has more power than any President I've seen in my lifetime...", unless Cuomo wasn't around from 2008 to 2016 while Barack Obama was President, he seems to forget the huge support Barry consistently received from Democrats during his two terms.

"Not having witnesses is a hoax"...yet another lie considering that Democrats have had 17 witnesses already.

Then Cuomo berates GOP Senators as 'Faustian' for not doing their 'duty', yet doesn't mention Susan Collins or even Mitt Romney, yunno the two Republican Senators who did vote for more witnesses.

Abortion and Gay-Marriage Supporting 'Catholic' Chris Cuomo Tries To Bash Evangelical Trump Supporter

Leave it to Jeff Zucker's CNN to immediately jump on POTUS going after some relatively unknown Christian magazine's 'progressive' editor who also happens to hate Trump and wrote some stupid Op-ed supporting the hoax impeachment.
